Hillhaven Farms is located in Stamford, NY at the intersection of Route 23 and Route 10. It has a great selection of produce including many types of apples. I purchased my pumpkin here for Halloween.

My first trip to Mase Cold Spring Wetlands Preserve located on the edge of the village of Stamford. The Catskill Scenic Trail runs along the Preserve. The first thing I noticed was the night lights found along the walkway were intentionally broken and many of the solar lights were taken.

West End Bowling Alley- Stamford NY
By Chas | October 29, 2009 · Leave a Comment
A building found along Main Street (Route 23) and South Street in Stamford. At the top of the doorway of the building it states “Bowling Alley”. The building is currently in very nice shape and was recently painted.
This building was formerly known as the “West End Bowling Alley”. It was built in 1893. It is no longer a bowling alley but the current adoration of “Bowling Alley” helps keep its past history alive.
